Welcome
We are a voluntary group that brings together like minded folk who are concerned about issues such as climate change, food security, energy supply and the loss of green space and community assets.
Our main focus is about helping people to grow their own food.
It is very popular but not many of us have the ideal garden or know what to do!
The ingredients for a plan!
South Lanarkshire Council has given us space at Calderglen Country Park.
The National Trust for Scotland has given us space at the National Museum of Rural Life.
We have also been successful with a grant application to the climate challenge fund for resources and equipment.
Local businesses including B&Q and Peter Kane, East Kilbride shed and fencing centre have also been very supportive.
Many thanks to them as this has enabled us to develop projects at both sites and form partnerships with South Lanarkshire College and a number of schools.
If you would like to know more then why not get in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you.
